SAN FRANCISCO - February 7, 2022 - Loka®, a leading Silicon Valley software consultancy, is excited to announce it has been named an Amazon Web Services (AWS) Advanced Consulting Partner.

With the designation, Loka® finds itself in elite company, joining only about 363 other AWS Advanced Consulting Partners in the United States, drawn from a pool of 100,000 consulting partners in more than 150 countries.

The highly valued status was awarded after Loka® met rigorous requirements, including demonstrating extensive experience deploying customer solutions on AWS. The designation also acknowledges Loka’s high level of expertise, along with its strong team of certified technical consultants. The certification came just 10 months after Loka® became an AWS Select Consulting Partner.

To become an AWS Advanced Consulting Partner, Loka® had to meet several criteria, including launching a minimum of 20 projects on AWS. As an indication of its expertise, Loka® has launched nearly 50 projects.

Loka® also has AWS Service validation in Lambda delivery and received 18 AWS certifications, including:

  • AWS Certified Machine Learning
  • AWS Certified Data Analytics
  • AWS Certified Developer
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect
  • AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner

For nearly two decades prior to receiving the AWS Advanced Consulting Partner designation, Loka® had been building on AWS for customers. This experience aided Loka’s extreme acceleration through the partner path. Now in addition to their specialized knowledge, Loka® has strong relationships with AWS and can get startups plugged into significant AWS funding credits.

Loka® has been recognized by AWS in the past. The company was chosen as one of a select few startups to support the 10 finalists of the inaugural AWS Healthcare Accelerator Program. In addition, LokaLabs™, Loka’s own internal incubator has launched apps like LokaPulse™, which determines a user's heart rate from a selfie video.

Loka® draws on its deep experience supporting artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML), healthcare, life science, and fintech startups to leverage AWS services to benefit customers.

For 18 years, Loka® has helped startups funded by leading VCs nail their designs, builds, and deadlines. The company has also worked with many innovation arms of Fortune 500 clients during this time, including Gatorade, Dyson, Marriott and Coca-Cola. Loka’s expertise in the AWS cloud enables startups to accelerate their cloud journey with the highest quality and confidence.

Founded by Silicon Valley entrepreneur Bobby Mukherjee, Loka® helps the most ambitious startups bring their innovations to market faster. Often, startups and innovative enterprises have competing projects they’re trying to move forward, but not enough elite software resources to get projects across the finish line. Loka® delivers complete teams that launch projects on the VC timeline.

Mukherjee, who is also Loka’s CEO, has founded three companies, raised $20M in venture capital, and sold a startup with a return of more than 20 times its investment. He also hosts an AI-centered podcast where he’s had leaders from Google, Netflix, and Stanford University on the show, found at loka.com/podcast.

“The talent startups need is elite, committed, and frustratingly scarce. With Loka, customers get senior product teams that bring innovations to market faster. Two decades of scaling startups in Silicon Valley forms our DNA. This translates to invaluable guidance for founders and a distinct edge in the market for their companies”, said Mukherjee.
